Flush-to-wall: invisible doors

Flush doors are one of the most popular doors of the moment, as they are suitable for modern and contemporary style homes, becoming an integral part of the design.

 In fact, doors of this type are characterised by the absence of frames and jambs which usually surround the entire door; a flush door therefore requires a specific frame (suitable for both plaster and plasterboard) that allows it to fit into the wall without any visible details, so as to be in perfect harmony with the wall, almost disappearing.

 The only visible element is the handle.

 There are various effects that can be created with flush doors, and this is one of the aspects that contributes to their growing popularity: in fact, you can decide to make them totally integrated with the wall that houses them.

 If you opt for a door with the same finish as the wall, the effect will be one of total symmetry: if the walls are white, for example, the use of plain white doors will create great uniformity and you will almost not perceive the presence of the door. This is a particularly modern and designer solution, suitable for both minimalist homes and other styles.

 But you can also decide to make the door a real eye-catching furnishing accessory: this effect can be achieved by covering the doors with wallpaper, perhaps in colours and patterns that contrast with the surrounding environment. 

 Another high-impact solution is to choose matt or gloss lacquered doors, either in the same colour as the wall or in different shades, so as to go from being practically invisible to becoming the decisive protagonist of the environment: in short, flush doors make it possible to obtain different results, but all of them refined and design-oriented.
